Highland Farm K9 is a small farm dedicated to high quality training opportunities in search and rescue, as well as a supplier of high quality dog food, treats, toys and customized gear.

Heather has trained and certified multiple K9s through the FEMA Certification Evaluation level as a member of Ohio Task Force - 1. She is a Canine Search Specialist (CSS), and a Technical Search Specialist (TSS), and a Search Team Manager (STM) she with her LF and HRD K9 partners have deployed nationwide on Urban Search and Rescue Missions with the OH-TF1 - including natural and man-made disasters at Surfside Florida Condominium Collapse, Kentucky Tornados, Kentucky Floods, Hurricane Ian in Florida, the fires in Lahaina Hawaii and floods in Texas.  Her HRD K9 partners are also certified by SARDUS for Land HRD.  She has also deployed in support of Emergency Management in Kentucky, and Law Enforcement in Ohio.​​

Heather has trained dogs most of her life for therapy work and SAR. She enjoys working with pet owners and handlers and offers opportunities for CGC training and testing as well as trick dog titles! Reach out if you are interested!
